DCM-20 Data Station

The DCM-20 sensor calculates the analysis results itself from the measured values and a stored calibration. These results are either output via two 4 ... 20 mA interfaces, or can be retrieved digitally from the sensor via the ModBus protocol.

In cases where this is sufficient for data acquisition, but the system is to run an autonomous washing cycle, an SP-8000 MCU can be used. This is necessary when the process liquid tends to deposit deposits on the pipe walls. The sensor itself saves the program and an activation signal via one of the 4 ... 20 mA lines, which is transmitted to the limit value switch and converted into the relay signal via a limit value switch. However, the limit value switches can also be used to output alarm signals when a set limit value is exceeded or not reached.

The SimPLC Dual unit is used when the process contains another component whose concentration is to be determined. The measurement data from another measuring device are fed into the unit and the results are determined via a multivariate calculation and output.
